The New Voters was produced by 12 journalism fellows at the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism, including two visiting from the University of Missouri and University of Texas at Austin. Their work is part of News21, a national journalism program. Worked as site developer and assisted in art direction of some projects. Site is built in Drupal.
Matt Sheehan is director of the 21st Century News Lab at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communciations. He's a journalist/MBA and new media entrepreneur. He spent two years as the COO of Mad Mariner LLC, a multimedia news firm specializing in recreational boating. Previously he was a senior administrator at the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism focused on Web strategy, and was an assistant news editor at the Washington Post. In 2008, he earned an MBA focusing on digital strategy and change from the Robert H. Smith School of Business.
